Festival CAT Deposit refunds

Please note the Festival Volunteers (CATs & HATs) moved to the Hotbox Events website in early 2009.

All CAT deposits have now been sent - again apologies for the slight delay in getting these back to you, the jump from 65 volunteers in 2005 to over 350 in 2006 has slowed us down a little in a few areas this year.

For those of you who have been complaining, we of course understand your frustration and do apologise. Please bear in mind that the Festival CATs are run independently from DC Site Services as a voluntary project. The Festival CATs are run by the promoters/events themselves, merely using the DCSS online systems to aid with administration, and thus do not have a huge budget to employ lots of admin staff. Those of us who run things spend many lunchtimes, evenings and weekends dealing with Festival CAT admin and planning for the shows.

Addressing the administrative time required for the increasing numbers of volunteers is on the list to sort out for 2007.

Again, thank you for all of your efforts over the Carling Weekend and we hope to see you all again in 2007!
